About
Beverly Aagaard Kienitz, MD, is a UW Health radiologist. She is also a professor in the Departments of Radiology and Neurological Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Aagaard Kienitz is also the co-director of the Neuroendovascular Surgery Fellowship program. Dr. Aagaard Kienitz surgically treats complex brain vascular lesions. She treats these conditions using minimally invasive surgical techniques, either from inside the blood vessels (endovascular) or through the skin (percutaneous).
Dr. Aagaard Kienitz cares for individuals with various neurological conditions, including abnormal or malformed arteries or blood vessels in the brain and irregularities, such as aneurysms. She also sees patients who have lymphatic malformations, or an abnormal, non-cancerous fluid buildup in the head and neck area.
Dr. Aagaard Kienitz stands by her patients during every step of their treatment and recovery. She takes time to discuss their options and works with them to make decisions about their care. Above all, she strives to help her patients live happy, healthy lives.
In addition to her clinical work, in her free time, Dr. Aagaard Kienitz enjoys music, gardening and history.
My goal is to heal my patients so that they can get back to living their lives as fully as possible.
