Brian Bruno, PA, LAT, is a UW Health physician assistant in sports medicine and orthopedics and also is a licensed athletic trainer.
Brian diagnoses and treats adolescents, teens and adults. He sees patients with shoulder, hip and knee injuries and disorders. Typically, these issues involve the muscles, tendons and ligaments. One of his special interests is treating ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) knee injuries.
To help ease his patients’ anxiety, Brian offers information about their conditions and outlines treatment options. He listens to their concerns and answers questions using words they can understand. He also gives each patient a step-by-step explanation of the rehabilitation process to help them know what to expect.
Whether his patients are competitive athletes or weekend warriors, Brian offers the latest medical guidance and motivational support. He works to help people heal and return to the activities, work and lifestyle they enjoy.
During his free time, Brian enjoys playing golf and coaching hockey.
From diagnosis to treatment to post-op care, I help people regain their function and return to active, healthy lifestyles.
