Cassandra Lopez, MD

Cassandra Lopez, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor. Dr. Lopez provides comprehensive health care for all members of the family. She offers preventive health services, including vaccinations and health screenings. Dr. Lopez cares for people with chronic health conditions, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and asthma. She also addresses acute (occurring suddenly) health concerns like colds, flu and minor injuries.

Dr. Lopez chose family medicine as her specialty because she enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and seeing them grow and thrive year after year. She takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns so she can provide them with the best, personalized care. Dr. Lopez stresses the importance of preventive care to help reduce people’s chances of developing chronic health conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Outside of work, Dr. Lopez enjoys reading, spending time with her family and traveling.

I try to work together with my patients to help improve their health.
