  • Psychiatry (Inpatient Hospitalist)

Christina Miller, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. Christina provides mental health care for patients of all ages. She supports people with depression, anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder and phobias (fears). Christina also cares for those with obsessive-compulsive disorder (uncontrollable thoughts that lead to repetitive behaviors) as well as post-traumatic stress disorder (extreme anxiety after going through a very stressful event).

Christina says she entered the mental health care field after seeing loved ones struggle to navigate health care systems and find resources to meet their needs. Her patient care philosophy focuses on helping patients become more independent and learn to self-advocate for their needs. Christina provides holistic, individualized, patient-centered care to help people with mental health conditions live fuller lives.

In her free time, Christina enjoys spending time in nature, supporting animal welfare, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants and spending time with friends.

I entered the mental health field to help make a difference for underserved and vulnerable populations with mental health concerns.
