About

Christina Rippl, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She cares for patients following cardiothoracic (heart and lung) surgery.

Christina collaborates with cardiothoracic surgeons to support patients with a wide range of heart and lung conditions after their surgeries. She primarily cares for individuals who have had heart valve replacements or repairs, aneurysm repairs and coronary artery bypass grafts (a procedure that treats plaque buildup in the heart’s arteries). She educates patients and their families on their post-surgical care plan to create a seamless transition from hospital to home.

Dedicated to helping her patients find strength in challenging moments, Christina partners with them throughout their rehabilitation and recovery. She looks forward to spending time with her patients and learning about their history and interests. Through comprehensive support and education, she strives to help people get back to living happy, healthy lives.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys gardening, staying active and spending time with her family.

I am dedicated to helping my patients improve their health and live long, fulfilling lives.
