Christopher Anderson, MD, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He provides comprehensive primary care for adults ages 18 and older.
Dr. Anderson diagnoses and treats acute (sudden) health concerns ranging from chest pain and stomach aches to minor sports injuries. He also helps patients manage chronic (long-term) health conditions such as asthma, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Dr. Anderson is passionate about patient education. He uses easy-to-understand language to explain his patients’ health and how they can make adjustments.
With a focus on shared decision-making and the latest scientific evidence, Dr. Anderson works with his patients to create personalized treatment plans they agree with and will follow.
Outside of work, Dr. Anderson enjoys reading, catching up on the latest Netflix shows and spending time with his wife, dog and cat.
Listening is key. I have to hear where my patients are coming from and what their concerns are to make the best recommendations.
