Cynthia Hanson, NP

Cynthia Hanson, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. Cynthia has advanced expertise in neurosurgery, a medical specialty focused on brain and nervous system disorders.

Cynthia works with neurosurgeons and other specialists to diagnose, treat and manage neurological disorders that may require surgery. She assists neurosurgeons and care teams in developing treatment plans and managing patients’ care before and during procedures. She also provides post-operative care while patients are in the hospital and during follow-up appointments.

A desire to share her skills and knowledge and to assist those in need motivated Cynthia to enter the medical profession. She strives to provide the highest quality of care for each patient. She encourages patients to take an active role in their care and recovery to achieve their personal health and wellness goals.
