Danielle Ikoma, MD, is a UW Health obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN). She provides comprehensive women’s health care for women of all ages, from menarche (first period) through menopause and beyond.
Dr. Ikoma cares for women in every stage of life. She provides the full scope of women’s health services, including cervical cancer and breast cancer screenings, pregnancy care, menstrual care and menopausal care. She performs minimally invasive surgical procedures and treats a variety of conditions ranging from pelvic pain, irregular periods, menstrual disorders and postmenopausal bleeding to uterine fibroids and polyps, ovarian cysts, vulvar conditions, endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
When working with pregnant patients, Dr. Ikoma offers prenatal, postnatal and labor and deliver care to ensure the health and well-being of both the mother and baby. Trained in both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, she is skilled in helping patients manage the physical and emotional effects of pregnancy failures such as miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, molar pregnancies.
