Drew Pearson, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in general surgery. Drew provides care for patients with gallbladder disease, wounds, bowel obstructions (blockages) and appendicitis (infection of the appendix). He also treats people with hernias (tissue bulging through a weakened muscle area) in the abdomen or groin.
Drew has a special clinical interest in minimally invasive robotic surgery. He has a wide background in the medical field, having previously worked as a pharmacy technician, emergency medical technician (EMT) and intensive care unit (ICU) nurse. Drew combines his background and experience to provide comprehensive, individualized patient care.
When he’s not working, Drew enjoys spending time outdoors and with friends and family.
I strive to treat all patients the way I would want to be treated. I also think it’s important to empower my patients to take control of their health.
