E. Luke Bradbury, MD, is a UW Health neurologist. He is also an associate professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Bradbury specializes in diagnosing and treating stroke and other cerebrovascular disorders (conditions that affect blood flow to the brain), such as brain aneurysms and carotid artery disease. He sees patients in the hospital for urgent issues. He also sees patients in the clinic for testing and follow-up care.
Dr. Bradbury is proud that UW Health is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. This is the highest designation for regional stroke care. He values the patient-first mentality and the advanced resources that support him in providing his patients with the highest quality of care.
Working to build strong partnerships with his patients, Dr. Bradbury listens to their stories and experiences. He explains the risks and benefits of each treatment option so patients can make informed medical decisions. Dr. Bradbury sees himself as an educator and partner in the decision-making process.
Dr. Bradbury’s research focuses on stroke imaging and prevention. He also studies strokes in young people and is a primary investigator on multiple clinical trials.
Outside of work, Dr. Bradbury enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing guitar.
I want my patients to recapture physical and mental wellness as well as their happiness and quality of life.
