Erin M. Davis, MD

Erin Davis, MD, is an internal medicine doctor at UW Health and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine. Dr. Davis has a special interest in helping patients manage osteoarthritis of the knees and hips.

Dr. Davis is the medical director for the Knee and Hip Comprehensive Non-Surgical Osteoarthritis Management Clinic. This clinic offers non-surgical options for adult patients with knee or hip osteoarthritis using physical activity, weight management, medications and injections to control arthritis symptoms.

With a passion for teamwork, Dr. Davis works collaboratively with patients to set goals while considering their individual preferences and abilities. She teaches patients how to optimize their health by keeping their bodies as fit and strong as possible. She says the most rewarding aspect of her job is supporting patients through challenging times and helping them improve and feel better.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Davis enjoys scuba diving whenever possible. Years ago, she was a gymnast, competing at the college level.

We have a really great collaborative approach in UW Health. Physicians here communicate well. And I love being able to send a message, call another doctor on the phone, and put our heads together to figure out how best to help someone.
