Erin Marriott, NP, is a nurse practitioner at the Pediatric Heart Program at UW Health.
As a pediatric cardiology nurse practitioner, Erin treats children and teens with a wide range of heart conditions. She has a special interest in treating POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), EDS (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) and muscular dystrophy.
When providing care, Erin strives to first gain a deep understanding of the child and family unit as a whole. She believes the best way to treat a patient is to ensure the entire family is supported.
Outside her practice, Erin is an avid reader — typically reading over 100 books a year. She has three children, and like many parents, she spends a lot of time driving them from activity to activity.
When your child is sick, the whole family experiences stress. So, it’s important to include parents, siblings and even grandparents so that everyone is taken care of and understands what’s going on.
