Eun Ha Kim, MD, is a UW Health psychiatrist. She’s also an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Kim treats people who suffer from substance use disorders. Their addiction to alcohol or drugs affects their ability to function well in daily life. Often, her patients have a dual diagnosis, which means they struggle with psychiatric disorders at the same time, such as anxiety, mood disorder or depression.
To help people overcome their addictions and emotional issues, Dr. Kim offers confidential counseling, medication, education and other personalized care services.
During initial visits, Dr. Kim listens to each patient’s concerns. She provides information and outlines treatment options. Together, they set goals and choose a care plan designed to fit the individual’s unique situation.
Dr. Kim believes it’s important to help each person heal, leave the past behind and enjoy the life they have now.
During her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling and reading history books about her destinations.
We’re not here to judge you. We’re here to help you overcome your substance use and emotional disorders whenever you’re ready.
