Dr. Fatima Mohiuddin, MD, is a UW Health allergist and immunologist who provides care for children and adults with allergies, asthma and other clinical immunology disorders. She is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.

Dr. Mohiuddin uses the latest technology to diagnose and treat a wide range of allergic and immunological conditions, including food and environmental allergies, asthma, allergic rhinitis, medication allergies, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, urticaria (hives), eczema, atopic dermatitis and skin rashes. She also treats immune deficiencies that cause lung and gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms.

Adopting a holistic approach to medicine, Dr. Mohiuddin emphasizes allergen avoidance, environmental control and healthy living through lifestyle modifications as key components of routine health maintenance. She aims to build mutual respect and trust with her patients by educating them about less harmful interventions and sharing in decision-making about their care. She believes her personal interactions with patients and their families have provided her with invaluable insights into the real-life impact of diseases — insights that go beyond academic knowledge.

In her free time, Dr. Mohiuddin enjoys exploring local parks and hiking trails, gardening, bird watching and reading. She is passionate about healthy cooking and enjoys experimenting with new recipes.

My patient interactions have made me a humbler, more compassionate, and hopefully better, physician.
