Fauzia Wani, MD

Fauzia Wani, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor who provides primary health care for individuals and families of all ages.

Dr. Wani cares for patients with general health concerns, ranging from acute (sudden) illnesses or injuries to chronic (long-term) conditions. With a focus on preventive medicine, she sees patients for annual wellness visits, vaccinations and routine screenings. She also offers women’s health services, pediatric care and geriatric support.

Dr. Wani strives to improve the health and happiness of the people in her community, from supporting first-time parents to encouraging senior citizens to try new activities. She takes time to listen to her patients’ concerns and thoroughly discuss their treatment plans. As a partner to her patients, she works with them to make important decisions about their health.

In her free time, Dr. Wani enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and children, especially hiking, biking and swimming.

I strive to build meaningful relationships with my patients based on trust and shared decision-making. My goal is to empower them to make the best choices for their health.
