Gayle Crays, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor. She cares for people of all ages, ranging from newborns to adults.
Dr. Crays diagnoses and treats acute (short-term) illnesses, such as ear infections and flu. She manages chronic (ongoing) conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease. In addition, she offers routine gynecological care.
To help prevent diseases and catch them early, Dr. Crays provides immunizations, physicals and well-checks. She also educates people about how to make safe, healthy lifestyle choices.
If her patients are interested, Dr. Crays talks with them about the potential benefits of complementary treatments. These may include chiropractic care or other natural healing methods to help ease pain and improve overall health and well-being.
During her free time, Dr. Crays loves to read. She’s fascinated with science fiction and enjoys watching movies and TV series.
I enjoy treating entire generations of the same family. I learn their health histories and help each person stay as healthy as possible.
