Hannah Mikunda, PA

Hannah Mikunda, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant in radiation oncology who cares for patients undergoing radiation treatment for cancer. Hannah sees patients with breast and gynecologic (female reproductive system) cancers, as well as people with gastrointestinal (digestive system) cancers. She sees patients at all stages of treatment and provides follow-up care when treatment is complete.

Hannah understands that cancer can be very scary and full of uncertainty. It’s important to her that her patients have as much control as possible during treatment. She spends her time educating them on their disease and what to expect. She listens carefully and gives her patients the space to work through any emotions they may have.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading, being outside and spending time with her husband, friends and family.

It’s most rewarding to connect with a patient and help them feel comfortable as they're going through a difficult cancer journey.
