Igor Slukvin, MD, is a UW Health pathologist and professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Specializing in gastrointestinal pathology, Dr. Slukvin uses surgical resection specimens and biopsies from the gut to diagnose medical conditions. He is committed to remaining at the forefront of clinical advancements and working within the highest standards of pathology and laboratory medicine.
Dr. Slukvin provides skillful, compassionate and personalized care to each of his patients.
In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Slukvin is working to develop novel stem cell-based therapies to fight cancer.
Outside of work, Dr. Slukvin enjoys gardening and swimming.
