Jaymee Umali, PT is a UW Health physical therapist with a doctorate in physical therapy. She treats people with orthopedic injuries and diseases involving the muscles, bones and joints. Jaymee uses a wide range of treatment techniques to reduce her patients’ pain. She helps patients regain strength, function and range of motion.
She has special clinical interests in therapeutic pain science and treating shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions.
To deliver comprehensive, effective care, Jaymee listens to each patient’s concerns. She assesses their conditions and creates customized care plans. Depending on their unique needs, Jaymee recommends exercises, manual therapy, therapeutic dry needling or other treatments.
Jaymee believes pain science education is crucial for recovery. She teaches people about all aspects of their condition, including what causes pain and how to manage it. With pain science, she empowers her patients to make healthy lifestyle changes and achieve maximum function with less pain.
Outside the clinic, Jaymee cherishes her family time. She also enjoys puzzles, hidden object games, drawing, anime and photography.
My ultimate goal is to equip patients with the tools and understanding they need to manage their pain effectively and regain control of their lives.
