Jessica Reid, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health who specializes in dermatology.
She treats a range of common skin conditions and complex skin diseases and disorders —from acne, rosacea (red, inflamed skin), warts and scars to hyperhidrosis (heavy sweating), skin cancers and psoriasis (an autoimmune disease characterized by patches of skin that are swollen and itchy or painful).
After conducting a thorough skin examination to identify and evaluate skin conditions, Jessica provides personalized treatment options and care. In addition to treating acute skin diseases, she offers therapies that help make chronic skin conditions more manageable.
Understanding that skin conditions often affect other areas of a person’s life, including their confidence, Jessica takes time to get to know each patient and understand their lifestyle and goals. She believes treatment is a team effort.
When not caring for patients, Jessica enjoys hiking and spending time with her dogs and horses.
I love working with people and solving their skin problems. It’s rewarding to see their smiles after they get through some hard times.
