About

Jessica Schuster, MD, is a UW Health radiation oncologist. She’s also a clinical associate professor in the Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She uses radiation therapies to diagnose and treat cancerous and noncancerous conditions.

Dr. Schuster’s specialties include breast cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. She uses X-rays and advanced imaging to evaluate the type, size and location of tumors. She delivers targeted radiation to destroy cancer cells and other abnormalities. Dr. Schuster collaborates with other cancer specialists to diagnose disorders and discuss treatment progress.

Taking a patient-centered approach to care, Dr. Schuster listens to patients and helps them to understand their condition and treatment options. She discusses the latest research and technological advances while guiding and customizing care.

In addition to treating patients, Dr. Schuster researches innovative radiation therapies and participates in studies focused on breast cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer.

When she’s not working, Dr. Schuster enjoys riding horses, playing ultimate frisbee and spending time with her family.

I help patients get through really hard times, but it’s rewarding to see them when they’re feeling better and talking about their grandkids or pets — that’s a success!
