About

Jillian Gorski, MD, is a specialty-trained pediatric emergency medicine physician who leads a team of expert health care clinicians at American Family Children’s Hospital’s Emergency Department — the region’s only emergency department specially designed to support the needs of infants, toddlers, tweens and teens.

Injury or illness can be caused by any of several diseases, including trauma and infections, and may include symptoms such as fevers, vomiting, bleeding, shortness of breath, dizziness, weakness and pain. Dr. Gorski speaks with parents and patients, obtains lab tests and imaging such as X-rays to diagnose the injury or illness, and provides necessary treatments.

Whether it is a life-threatening event, such as a traumatic injury, or an event needing rapid treatment, such as a deep cut, Dr. Gorski attentively and compassionately listens to all parents and patients to understand their health care needs and provide the most advanced medical care available.
