John Trapp, MD, is a UW Health obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN). He provides comprehensive care for patients during pregnancy and childbirth.

Dr. Trapp also diagnoses and treats disorders and diseases of the female reproductive organs. These issues include pelvic pain, urinary tract infections and abnormal uterine bleeding. Dr. Trapp offers routine screenings for gynecological cancers and other conditions. When patients have abnormal pap smears and ultrasound findings, Dr. Trapp provides care and guidance. As needed, he performs laparoscopic and robotic surgeries to treat gynecological issues.

During office visits, Dr. Trapp treats each person with compassion and respect. He listens to their concerns, answers any questions and discusses treatment options. He believes it’s important to educate each person about their condition so that they can make the best decisions for their health care.

During his free time, Dr. Trapp enjoys biking and tennis.
