Jonathon Leja, MD, is a UW Health geriatrician (a doctor who cares for patients over the age of 65) who cares for hospitalized patients. He’s also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Leja treats older adults with complex medical conditions. These range from memory problems, including dementia and delirium, to physical challenges such as fall risks. He helps hospitalized patients with multiple conditions manage their diagnoses and achieve optimal health.

Offering comprehensive support, Dr. Leja helps patients make medical decisions and manage complicated health problems. He recognizes that every patient is different and offers holistic care plans tailored to their unique needs. As a compassionate provider, Dr. Leja strives to improve the quality of life for every patient he serves.
