Karilin Bare LPC, CSAC, is a licensed professional counselor, clinical substance abuse counselor and EMDR trained in Behavioral Health. She provides care to adolescents (12+) and adults. She proudly serves the LGBTQIA+ community.
Karilin is certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and has extensive training to support people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, relational stressors and those seeking general counseling and support.
With the goal of helping individuals gain new skills through self-actualization, Karilin uses an eclectic approach to treatment. She employs a variety of theories to build a therapeutic relationship with her patients, including client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, trauma-based therapy and 12-step recovery.
Karilin views her practice as a collaboration with the patient always in the driver’s seat. She meets patients where they are and treats each one with respect, compassion and dignity.
Outside of the clinic, Karilin enjoys visiting state parks, hiking with her dog and visiting antique shops.
I follow a person-centered philosophy and meet people where they are.
