Dr. Walsh's teaching and research interests include geriatric emergency medicine, trauma, falls and syncope. She was awarded the Ambulatory Teaching Award by the Department of Medicine in 2010. She currently serves on the ACEP Academic Affairs Committee, ACEP Geriatric Emergency Medicine Committee, SAEM Academy of Geriatric Emergency Medicine Section and the University of Wisconsin EM Education Committee
