Kathryn Swenson, NP, is a UW Health Kids pediatric nurse practitioner who cares for children with pulmonary (lung) disorders. She sees patients with chronic cough, recurrent pneumonia and persistent wheezing and infants with chronic lung disease. She has a special interest in patients with asthma.
It’s important to Kathryn that she can help solve her patients’ health problems and improve their symptoms. By listening to her patients and their families, she can develop a treatment plan that works for everyone. Kathryn is most excited about new treatments and medications that come out, allowing her to try new ways to help her patients get better.
In her free time, Kathryn enjoys being outside with her family.
My hope for each of my patients is that they are able to go to school and do all the activities they want without breathing problems holding them back.
