About

Kimberly Bannon, MD, is a UW Health obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN) and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Bannon provides care for women throughout their lifespan — from menarche (first menstrual cycle) through their post-menopausal years.

Dr. Bannon provides a full range of care, including annual physical exams, health and wellness evaluations and consultations, preventive care and contraceptive care. She also offers prenatal, childbirth and delivery care and treats other reproductive and general health needs.

When needed, Dr. Bannon connects patients with appropriate specialists for comprehensive care. These may include pelvic floor doctors, pain specialists, maternal-fetal medicine experts and gynecologic oncologists.

Dr. Bannon takes a patient-centered approach to care and makes shared decision-making a priority. She listens to her patients’ concerns and goals and explains each treatment option so they can make informed decisions about their care. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and confident with their treatment plans.

In her free time, Dr. Bannon enjoys spending time with her children, husband and dog; camping, biking, and exercising.

When patients say, ‘You made me feel like I mattered,’ that’s a rewarding day.
