Laura Dos Reis, MD

Laura Dos Reis, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric and adolescent medicine doctor. She’s also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Dos Reis provides comprehensive health care to children from birth through young adulthood. She sees patients with acute (sudden) issues like coughs, colds, ear infections and skin conditions. She also cares for children with chronic (long-lasting) health concerns. These include breathing problems like asthma and mental health conditions such as ADHD, anxiety or depression.

Dr. Dos Reis also offers preventive care. Her services range from well-checks and growth development support to nutrition and physical activity guidance. She specializes in newborn medicine and mental health care.

Inspired by her family doctor at age 5, Dr. Dos Reis knew she wanted to become a pediatrician. As a mom herself, she values her patients’ input. She partners with children and their loved ones to make informed decisions. Whether supporting first-time parents or empowering young adults to take charge of their health, Dr. Dos Reis treats her patients like family.

Outside of work, Dr. Dos Reis enjoys traveling, swimming, snorkeling and spending time with her son.

I love working with kids — I get to have fun every single day. I am dedicated to helping my patients lead happy, healthy lives and grow into thriving young adults.
