About

Lauren Duerst, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery for adult patients.

Lauren provides a broad spectrum of health services for patients who require head or neck plastic surgery. In addition to routine checkups, Lauren also offers patient education and assists the surgical team in reconstructive procedures and biopsies. She helps patients manage their conditions before, during and after their surgeries in both hospital and outpatient settings. She primarily focuses on caring for patients with cranial facial abnormalities (skull and face defects).

Lauren strives to make her patients feel comfortable during every phase of their treatment and recovery. She understands how important it is to be on the same page with her patients and always takes the time to address their questions and concerns. Through compassionate care, she helps people get back to doing the things they love.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.

My hope for each of my patients is that they receive the high-quality care they need and deserve.
