Lisa Klesius, MD, is a UW Health anesthesiologist and associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Klesius focuses on acute pain management and performs nerve blocks for patients undergoing medical procedures. Dr. Klesius also serves as the division chief for Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management.

As an anesthesiologist, Dr. Klesius provides pain management and sedation medicines for people before, during and after medical procedures.

In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Klesius helps provide training and education for the next generation of anesthesiologists.

Outside of work, Dr. Klesius enjoys running, biking and exploring the outdoors.
