Michael Pazzol, DO

Michael Pazzol, DO, is a UW Health rehabilitation medicine and pain management doctor. He's also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Dr. Pazzol treats back and neck pain, abdominal pain, foot and ankle pain, headaches and other body pain.

When evaluating patients, Dr. Pazzol might recommend imaging tests, neurological exams or diagnostic procedures. He uses this information to discuss personalized care plans. He assesses each patient’s condition, lifestyle and activity levels. He also considers any physical or emotional stressors and treatment goals.

Dr. Pazzol could recommend physical therapy, lifestyle changes, medications, injections or procedures. He might talk with patients about referrals for alternative therapies, such as acupuncture. Dr. Pazzol performs diagnostic ultrasounds and ultrasound- or fluoroscopy-guided procedures. He offers trigger point injections to ease localized pain. Dr. Pazzol encourages his patients to take an active role in their care for lasting success.

In his free time, Dr. Pazzol enjoys spending time with family, playing the guitar, reading science fiction and playing popular fantasy games.
