Nastassja Petermann is a UW Health KIds nurse practitioner who cares for pediatric patients who require facial reconstructive surgery. She specializes in treating children with cleft lip and palate, facial scars and other facial physical trauma.
It’s very important to Nastassja that she creates a feeling of family-centered care. She enjoys forming relationships with her patients and their families through multiple visits and procedures. Nastassja strives to create a connection with each of her patients, making them feel at ease and less scared of the situation.
In her free time, Nastassja enjoys distance running, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
My favorite thing about working with pediatric patients is their resiliency and how they bring joy to a stressful situation.
