Nikki Brechtel, CAA, is a UW Health clinical anesthetist. She provides anesthesia care for patients of all ages.
Nikki helps deliver anesthesia (pain medicine) and provides anesthesia care for patients before, during and after surgery or other procedures. She monitors and controls patients’ vital functions (such as breathing, heart rate and blood flow) to keep them safe and comfortable during procedures and helps them recover after the medicine wears off. She has a special clinical interest in pediatric anesthesia care.
Nikki provides patient-centered care with patience and understanding.
I have a deep appreciation for medicine and the healing pathways available or not yet discovered for patients from all walks of life.
