Olga Fajardo, MD, is a UW Health gynecologic surgeon and an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Using the latest minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Fajardo treats complex gynecologic conditions. These conditions include abnormal development of the reproductive tract and pelvic organs (called Mullerian anomalies). She also treats fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancies (a fertilized egg in the fallopian tubes instead of the uterus), pelvic infections, abscesses (fluid-filled lumps) and endometriosis.
Her research interests include advancing the quality of patient care and improving educational training and opportunities for doctors and residents. She also works to educate her patients about their medical conditions and how to live a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Fajardo is passionate about providing care for underserved patients.
I became a gynecologic surgeon to provide the very best care for my patients and to improve their quality of life.
