About

Parisa Amleshi, MD, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor and a clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She provides comprehensive medical care for adults.

Dr. Amleshi diagnoses and treats acute (sudden) illnesses such as flu, urinary tract infections and pain and helps patients manage chronic (long-term) illnesses, including diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and lung disease. She also offers preventive care services such as wellnessvisits, annual exams, vaccinations and health screenings. When working with patients who have several complex medical issues at the same time, she consults with other UW Health specialists to provide comprehensive care for the best outcome.

Dr. Amleshi enjoys getting to know her patients and learning about their health goals. She listens to their concerns, asks questions and assesses their overall medical needs. Working as a team, Dr. Amleshi and her patients discuss the most effective care options to achieve their best possible health.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Amleshi enjoys traveling and hiking.

I want my patients to feel heard and be comfortable with their care plan. If they need to talk, I am here for them.
