About

Paul Wambold, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist. He cares for patients with a variety of orthopedic concerns.

As a physical therapy and rehabilitation specialist, Paul treats a wide range of bone, muscle and joint conditions, as well as post-operative issues. Additionally, he cares for individuals dealing with spinal concerns and extremity problems involving the hands and feet.

Paul uses tool-assisted manual techniques such as dry needling (inserting a small needle into the skin and muscle to relieve pain and movement issues) and soft tissue mobilization (massage therapy) to help patients manage their conditions.

Whether he’s helping his patients control their pain or recover from surgery, Paul strives to empower them to get back to doing what they love. Through patient-centered care, he partners with individuals to improve their functionality and maximize their physical potential.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys mountain biking, cooking, making sourdough bread and camping in Wisconsin with his family.

Through patient-focused care, I strive to help people maximize their quality of life.
