Raza Chaudhry, MS. CGC, is a UW Health certified genetic counselor. He helps patients who have a strong family history and risk of getting breast cancer or gynecologic cancers. These include ovarian cancer and other cancers of the female reproductive system.

Raza counsels patients diagnosed with breast or gynecologic cancer. He helps them understand and manage their cancer risk factors. Raza evaluates their health, medical history and other personal or family information. He then provides guidance regarding genetic testing, preventive steps and personalized care options.

In addition to breast and gynecologic cancers, Raza has a special interest in endocrine genetics. He studies how genetic factors can influence endocrine (hormonal gland) health.

Raza’s patient care philosophy centers on open communication and understanding. He entered the medical profession because he’s committed to providing fair access to health care for all patients.

In his free time, Raza and his wife enjoy trying different cuisines and restaurants. He also loves attending concerts and spending time with their golden retriever.

I make it a priority to listen to my patients' concerns, ensure they feel heard and provide the high level of care that they deserve.
