Rehmat Sheikh, MD, is a UW Health cardiologist. Dr. Sheikh cares for patients with coronary artery disease (narrowed arteries that reduce blood flow to the heart muscle) and peripheral artery disease (narrowed arteries that reduce blood flow to the legs and arms). He treats a variety of heart and blood vessel conditions, including heart failure, hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol, heart valve problems and cardiomyopathy (heart muscle disease). He specializes in performing minimally invasive procedures to open blocked arteries in the heart and legs.
As a partner to people during challenging moments, Dr. Sheikh strives to provide his patients with the same level of individualized, high-quality care that he would give to his family. He takes time to listen to their concerns, discuss all their options and help them make decisions about their health.
Outside of work, Dr. Sheikh enjoys spending time with his family outdoors.
My goal is to always provide the highest level of compassionate care.
