Sarah Maria Donohue, MD, is a UW Health rheumatologist physician who treats patients with rheumatic diseases, arthritis, and autoimmune disorders. in the hospital setting. She also works with patients who are facing reproductive health issues caused by rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Donohue is an associate professor in the Department of Rheumatology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Donohue provides patient-centered communication and care as a core value. During her initial visit, she gets to know her patients and the facets of their lives, allowing her to improve their health or bring small areas of joy with her expertise. Dr. Donohue’s research interests focus on medical education and gender disparities in medical training.

In her free time, Dr. Donohue enjoys spending time with her family and her golden retriever. She also loves traveling.
