Scott Chaiet, MD, MBA, is a UW Health facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and an associate professor in the Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery within the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Chaiet specializes in reconstructive surgery of the face and neck, as well as cosmetic surgery. He also leads the UW Health Facial Nerve Clinic and lectures nationally on patient-reported outcomes after facial paralysis. Dr. Chaiet dedicates his practice to gender affirmation surgery, nasal reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.
His care philosophy is to listen to each patient’s story to understand their goals for treatment.
Dr. Chaiet’s research interests include functional rhinoplasty, patient-reported outcomes in gender surgery, patient-reported outcomes after facial nerve paralysis and protective devices in facial trauma. The goal of his research is to find out how treatments can improve a patient’s quality of life.
In his free time, Dr. Chaiet enjoys spending time with his children and family.
I enjoy watching a patient's face light up when they see their results after surgery and feel instant gratification.
