Srivani Sridhar, MD, is a UW Health integrative family medicine doctor. She cares for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
Using an integrative medicine approach, Dr. Sridhar looks at the whole patient to determine their overall health and medical care. She considers all the factors that influence the patient’s health and wellness, including mind, body, spirit and community. Her special areas of interest include digestive disorders, women’s health, cancer care and prevention, and thyroid and hormone balance. She also specializes in managing chronic syndromes and diseases and emphasizes preventive care.
Dr. Sridhar’s care philosophy is to treat the whole patient and identify the cause or triggers of their symptoms. She uses natural supplements, herbal remedies, nutrition and dietary changes — and medications when appropriate — to treat the root cause of an illness or disease instead of just treating the problem.
In her free time, Dr. Sridhar enjoys hiking, kayaking, yoga, meditation, exotic food, and cats.
I enjoy hearing my patient’s story, as that helps me diagnose and treat their condition.
