Stephanie Verderame, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in headache medicine.
Stephanie provides care for people with a wide variety of headache disorders, including migraines, tension headaches, post-traumatic headaches and cluster headaches (severe pain on one side of the head). She also provides care for patients who have suffered concussions (head injuries) and those who have trigeminal neuralgia, a condition that causes intense pain in the face.
Stephanie enjoys getting to know her patients and developing customized management plans to meet their unique needs. She offers both medication-based and nonmedication-based treatments. Her goal for every patient is to reduce their level of pain and increase their quality of life over time.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys baking, reading and staying active.
I encourage my patients to be active participants in their own health and wellness.
