Stephanie Gorham, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor. Dr. Gorham provides primary health care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
Dr. Gorham cares for patients in all stages of life. She diagnoses and treats acute (sudden) illnesses and minor injuries and manages chronic (long-term) conditions such as diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure) and high cholesterol. She also provides preventive care that includes vaccinations, well-check visits and annual physicals. Dr. Gorham has special clinical interests in mental health and obesity medicine.
Dr. Gorham’s care philosophy centers around listening to her patients and using shared decision-making to develop appropriate care plans to meet their unique health needs and goals. She takes the time to get to know each patient as an individual, learning about their health backgrounds and what’s happening in their lives right now. She finds ways to relate to each of her patients and provides compassionate, skilled care to improve their health and well-being.
Outside of work, Dr. Gorham enjoys painting, kayaking, going to concerts and spending time with her teenage son.
I became a doctor to help others. I love to share my experiences with my patients to help us all grow together.
