Sukhdeer (Scotty) Singh, DO, is a UW Health fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in anterior hip replacement and robotic knee replacement. He practices general orthopedics and performs adult reconstruction surgery. In addition, Dr. Singh treats fractures, sports injuries and other disorders of the bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons.
Dr. Singh specializes in anterior hip replacements using minimally invasive surgical techniques and does complex revision surgery for patients who have experienced complications with past joint replacements. These issues include infection and loosening of the artificial joint. Through corrective surgery, he works to reduce his patients’ pain, restore mobility and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Singh also diagnoses and treats all types of orthopedic conditions, including meniscal tears (injury to the cartilage in the knee), rotator cuff tears (injury to the cartilage in the shoulder), sprains and strains and primary joint replacement. When surgery is needed, he performs the latest minimally invasive technique with a focus on robotic knee replacement.
Dr. Singh also helps patients manage the pain of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other degenerative joint diseases. He offers both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options, such as medication, injections and physical therapy.
During his free time, Dr. Singh enjoys carpentry, woodworking projects, travel, exercise and spending time with family and friends.
I create personalized treatment plans to help my patients regain their mobility, return to their daily activities and enjoy life again.
