Susan Faber, NP

Susan Faber, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in neonatology. She provides care for newborn babies who are spending time in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). These infants are often born prematurely or have complex health conditions that require additional time in the hospital to receive intensive care.

With nearly four decades of experience, Sue is skilled in caring for babies who have a wide range of health conditions — from anemia (low red blood cell count) and breathing problems such as apnea (pauses in breathing) to pneumonia (lung infection) and heart problems. She enjoys caring for babies in the NICU and building relationships with their families.

In her free time, Sue enjoys renovating and redecorating old houses with her husband.

Babies are so resilient. Seeing them years later, healthy, is wonderful.
