Susan Marshall, AuD

  • Audiology (Hearing Services)

Susan Marshall, AuD, is a UW Health audiologist (hearing specialist). Susan diagnoses, treats and manages hearing conditions such as tinnitus (ringing in the ears), inner ear disorders that affect balance, mild to profound hearing loss, and speech disorders related to hearing conditions.

Susan tests and assesses patients and offers treatments ranging from non-medical options to surgical procedures. For certain conditions, she consults with or refers to other providers for comprehensive, multispecialty care.

In addition to testing and diagnosis, she educates and guides patients about ways to improve their hearing, minimize further hearing loss and enhance their quality of life. She educates patients about the latest hearing aids, medical devices and telephone or listening technologies to manage hearing-related challenges. Available options include alternative alarms and alerts for patients who can’t hear standard warning systems.

Susan offers evaluation, preparation and care for procedures involving cochlear implants (surgically implanted devices that stimulate hearing), in-ear hearing protection monitors and bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA) programming. She also recommends therapies for dizziness and speech and communication challenges.

I believe in patient-centered care and working together to provide the best possible care for each of our patients.
