Thomas Shiffler, MD

Tom Shiffler, MD, is an internal medicine doctor at UW Health and a clinical associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine. He provides the full spectrum of primary care and has a special interest in preventive care and chronic disease management.

Dr. Shiffler values the patient-doctor relationship and strives to provide his patients with the knowledge and tools needed to live their lives to the fullest. Recognized for his commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care, Dr. Shiffler was named to Madison Magazine’s Top Docs in Madison list.

He is active in medical education in both classroom and clinical settings.

Outside of work, Dr. Shiffler enjoys spending time with his family and friends outdoors and cheering for Wisconsin sports teams — especially the Milwaukee Bucks.
