Timothy McCormick, DO, is a UW Health anesthesiologist. He’s also a clinical associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. As an anesthesiologist, Dr. McCormick provides sedation and pain relief for people before, during and after medical procedures. He is skilled in all forms of anesthetic medicine and treats patients of all ages, but primarily provides anesthesia care to adults. 

Dr. McCormick provides pain relief to patients across a wide range of surgical specialties. He also provides anesthesia for many nonsurgical procedures such as interventional radiology, gastroenterology and brachytherapy (a type of radiation therapy).  

Throughout his patients’ procedures, Dr. McCormick works to ensure the highest level of care.His patient-centered approach is fully integrated with other specialists to deliver positive recovery outcomes. 

Outside of work, Dr. McCormick enjoys watching and playing sports with his family.
