Wayne Evans, MD, is a UW Health maternal-fetal medicine doctor. He provides care for patients whose pregnancies are complicated by complex health conditions affecting the mother or baby in utero (fetus).
Dr. Evans provides preconception care for women and families who are considering pregnancy. He offers prenatal assessments and diagnoses for medical complications affecting pregnancy. He cares for patients who have pre-existing health conditions that can affect pregnancy and for patients who develop medical conditions during pregnancy that can affect their health or their baby’s health. He has a special clinical interest in prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy.
Dr. Evans has decades of experience providing skilled, compassionate care. He partners with his patients and teaches them about their condition and how it may affect their child’s development. He offers support and resources for prenatal complications and special needs so his patients can make informed decisions about their labor, delivery and care.
My goal is to provide my patients and their support teams with the most up-to-date information about their condition so they can make informed care decisions.
